ABOUT Embedded Nano

This is where it happens!

Embedded Nano is an extended collaborative R&D platform. We set the stage for an interaction between nanotech and industry/business with the creative industry as a key partner. We transform scientific know-how into applications in a specific context.

Our mission is to: Embed, read and extract data, information, properties and performance on the nanoscale in matter.

Embedded Nano has an extensive network within the world of nano as well as the business world, society and the creative industry.

We turn interdisciplinary collaboration into added value by combining Cutting Edge Science + Business + The Creative Industry.

TEAM, PARTNERS and NETWORK

Variety is the spice of life. We have a network of partners from a great varity of disciplines; science, business, industry and the creative industry. This value chain makes it possible for us to go from idea, to concept, to prototype, field test and finally to market in a rapid way.

Embedded nano is about setting science in motion. If you would like to join us please let us know.

materialage

A NEW MATERIAL AGE

Everything around us has an operating system. We are surrounded with things that can be seen as proxy evidence of events taking place on the nanoscale.

All materials behave in a certain way, it appears in a certain way, it interacts with the surrounding environment in a certain way in time and space. It has always been this way. What has changed is that we can embed or extract what we desire in a particular material. Historically, we have been able to treat a surface from outside in now we can build the surface from inside out.

PROGRAMMABLE SURFACES

All materials behave in certain ways. Now we can preprogram its properties and performance based on what we are looking for or didn’t know we desired

INFINIT RESOLUTION

The surface comes from within. In the history of man we have treated material from the outside in. Now we are laying out the path of how a material should self-assemble. Far beyond the reach of our sensory capacity.

RESPONSIVE MATERIALS

Materials always respond to their environment. Now we can govern this response to match our objectives or how we want it interact with the user.

TRANSFORMATIVE

Material science has a kind of metabolic ability to change or rather create  the properties and performance of material behavior.
